Question: Can a felon obtain a heavy equipment operators license or cdl license?

You can possibly get your license through a school, but you will have a very hard time finding a job. Companies will overlook you because of the restrictions and regulations of interstate, cross-border and hazmat trucking. Schools also do a police check on you. If you are serious about getting your CDL, you should look into getting a pardon, if it is possible.

I don't think so, and even if one can, it would probably be hard to find a job, espically if the person is looking in to being a truck driver, they are strict about that, and its hard to find a truck driving job, that doesn't require any experience. But, Sorry, I'm not good help, but I'm pretty sure thats right, anyhow, Good luck to you, or who ever is looking to get their CDL!
