I am looking for a portable jump starter for semi tractors, does anyone know where I can find one?
I need an insurance company for semi tractors, in IL, that will ensure my tractors inspite of minor accidents?
The accidents in question were caused by other drivers, but it seems to be affecting my ability to get insurance. This is new to me since my spouse, who formerly headed this small two tractors family business is now deceased. Only one tractor driver has been involved in the accidents and received only a ticket one time for improper lane change. I have a 1984 Mack and a 1987 International. We haul scrap metal. I would like approximately $750,000 of liability and cargo insurance.
Does anybody know of any trucking companies besides usxpress that uses automatic semi tractors?
I only have 3mths experience but I'm willing to do a 2wk training, etc. I tried Hogan, Interstate Distribution, Averitt, and Arnold. I really don't like manual transmissions semi trucks. If anybody know of any companies besides these, it would be a great help.
Semi Tractor Mileage Question?
To start my Uncle and Dad own a small Truck Company. I plan on joining in the business but I want to drive as well. Today when looking at some truck ads I consistently found multiple 2006 semis with over 400k miles. Is that typical for one? I am getting a used truck first as this will be my first time as 100% owner. I have been looking at a few 2006 and 2007 Pete 379 EX HD with the Cummins ISX. As a bonus question is that engine a decent one or should I look at other options. just to inform everyone that reads this I'm not new to the trucking industry my grandfather started this company and my whole family is in it. I have a CDL and have driven one before. This will be my first self owned truck and first time with this as my main means of income. Also the reason I'm asking on here is my dad is on vacation and I'm just doing a little research, when the time actually comes for me to purchase a truck I'll have him there to check it out and help me with the process. Your insight is appreciated though and thank you for checking my question s out.Well we have 17 semi tractors the company owns now we haul cattle otr so i need an actual semi.
What other companies besides us express uses autoshift 18 wheelers and semi-tractors?
