Tractor Sales Equipment

Question: Anyone know how you calculate tractor tyre % condition? many 2nd hand tractor sales refer to tyres as 60% etc.?

Just means that they have 60% of the original tread on them. It means they are 40% used with 60% left on them

It's just like cars.... it's how much thread is remaining compared to brand new. Most are just guessing so they are not reliable.

When tyres are new the tread depth is say 1/ 4 inch deep well a used tyre is the percentage of the original depth most only guess but anything over 40% is a pretty good tyre
